What is it? Where it can be found?
What is “confidence”? There cannot be confidence that something will happen. Too many factors to affect, too many things you cannot control. But if you cannot guarantee confidence in some outcome, you can guarantee calmness. Calmness in the process of action gives confidence.
But what is calmness? It is knowledge:
So, you have goals, and we know that there will be obstacles, problems, emotions, surprises. But we also understand that conquering these barriers gives most value to our journey. All this makes you to be a fan of difficulties.
What brings calmness? Knowledge about yourself. Do you have stability? To do something without burnout for a long time, 2-3-4 years and more. Going towards your goal consistently over long period of time. This can be achieved by loving the stuff you’re doing. Only by doing projects of your heart and desire. This makes the journey to matter a lot more than the result.
Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will be stretch out before you an ever lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. Calmness is taken from the knowledge of your stability: acceptance of the fact, that after stepping on an important to you path, you won’t crumble before obstacles, and act with highest commitment, focus and discipline.
Confidence - when your energy flow is not clamped. If you let your energy flow free, you will be able to act your best, make your best decisions. Energy clamp is emerged from your fears. But fears is only your psychological view on the situations in the past or future. So they either not relevant anymore, or based on unknown factors, which your mind inflated to the point of which they became sources of anxiety.
You cannot be confident that everything will be fine, but you can be confident that you made your best effort to achieve the result.
