90% of everything is crud

Nine-tenths of existing books are nonsense, and the clever books are the refutation of that nonsense. – Benjamin Disraeli

According to Sturgeon’s Law, most of our work is garbage. Should we worry about it? I don’t think so. Anything great is emerged only through the hard work and many repetitions. No masterpiece is created out of nowhere. Every masterpiece bears long background of the author.

Four-fifths of everybody’s work must be bad. But the remnant is worth the trouble for its own sake. – Rudyard Kipling

I want to make 100, 1000 games - i want to push their quality as reasonable as it should be. Most of these games can be considered a “garbage”, most of these games may find a minor audience. But out of 10 games, there will be the one, that all the work is done for. The one that is on the summit of all previous foundation.

We just need to work hard and move on. Never stop trying, never surrender after a failure. Analyze, process, and continue your path.
